Nissan has expanded its local Juke model line-up with the addition of a frugal, front-wheel-drive turbodiesel
The Nissan Juke 1,5 dCi Acenta+ develops 81 kW and 260 N.m of torque, the latter being modulated under the Nissan Dynamic drive system, Normal, Sport) that caps the torque to 220 N.m in its most frugal (ECO) setting and modulates throttle input in both ECO and Sport settings. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
Fuel efficiency is the order of the day here, with such features as low-friction engine components, start/stop and revised gear ratios (lower 1st and 2nd for off-the-mark performance and higher 3rd to 6th ratios for improved fuel efficiency) contributing to claimed fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures of 4,2 litres/100 km and 109 g/km, respectively. This unit requires 50 ppm, low-sulphur diesel.
