As if Alfa Romeo’s 156 GTA was not potent enough, tuning house Autodelta has reformed it by adding a few extras and fitting a huge 3,7-litre 24-valve V6 engine that is sure to annihilate any competition.
The design and tuning house Autodelta has built a reputation for producing Alfas with added oomph, and owner Jano Djelelian admitted that his company has been working feverishly for an entire year to get the car “absolutely right”.
Autodelta’s 156 GTA will be powered by a potent 3,7-litre V6 engine that may also do duty in an upcoming GTA version of the 147. The V6 will produce in the region of 255 kW.
In these pictures taken just days ahead of the official launch, a massive airdam can be seen dominating the front section of this monster 156 GTA. Autodelta’s in-house design section, Creativestudio, has worked Alfa’s new grille and headlight cluster into its 156 GTA model; elements that have not yet been included in the current 3,2-litre version.
To add to the brute-like nature of the vehicle, Autodelta’s 156 GTA has flared wheel arches; revised front and rear spoilers; and side skirts including venting systems for the upgraded braking system. Four tailpipes and sexy 18-inch multispoke wheels complete the beefed-up look.
