The C8 can carry up to eight people in the three rows of its passenger compartment. Power sliding doors provide easy access and the vehicle exterior combines an ultra-resistant structure with a range of protective features.
The C8 offers cruise control, excess speed warning and low tyre-pressure detection. It also has a full range of active safety features including ABS, traction control ESP, EBD and automatic illumination of hazard warning lights.
It also provides top-level safety for all the occupants through its reinforced structure, of which one-third is made of high yield-strength steel, six airbags fitted as standard to protect all the passengers from row one to row three, and indicators showing if the driver and front passenger seatbelts are not attached.
The air conditioning system splits the interior into four independent climate control zones for maximum flexibility and occupant comfort. Ventilation, door and window controls allow passengers total control over their environment.
The seat backs have fold-down trays and all the seats fold flat or can be removed completely to create a huge cargo area.
There are no plans at the moment to bring the C8 to South Africa.
