The Urus may be better suited to towing but some may still only consider it an Audi Q8 in drag. In a latest video of a 920 kW flame spitting Huracan, an undeniably true Lamborghini displays its towing prowess. We expect a clutch replacement quite soon though.
Compliments of Alex Choi’s latest YouTube video embedded below, he proves that you don’t need a Lamborghini Urus to tow any other car. In fact he proves that you just need a beefy class IV hitch bolted into the chassis of your mid-mounted 920 kW flame spitting Huracan instead.
As can be seen by the exterior, the Raging Bull is far from stock. Most obviously, the body panels fitted are of the Huracan GT3 race car and are finished in a colour-changing purple hue while beneath the engine cover sits a Sheepy Race twin-turbo upgrade which makes the flame spitting Huracan good for 920 kW on the rear wheels. This 5,2-litre V10 not only screams its swan song but is also capable of theatrical shots of flames from the top mounted exhaust.
The tow hitch is first equipped with a KTM dirt bike before Choi proceeds to rent a trailer. After failing to load up an extremely wide Urus, he settles for his own personal RS6 to prove his point. After a few days of loading bakkies and scrap cars onto the load bay he eventually manages to source a wider trailer so he can achieve his goal of getting an Urus up top. This coming after his flame spitting Huracán had a Huracán STO loaded up to the back.
Watch the STO battle it out with a Lexus LFA here.
This must have been one of the strangest sights to see but we can’t imagine the clutch connecting the 920 kW motor to the seven-speed transmission liked it very much. Choi further added that if it breaks he’d simply replace the $2 000 component after doing burnouts with the trailer attached to the rear.
