Nearly a decade before we got to test the absolutely brilliant and drop-dead-gorgeous GranTurismo, the 3200 GT was the vehicle that brought the Modena-based manufacturer out of its chequered past and into the new millennium.
Boosted by a 50 per cent stake in the company by former rival Ferrari as part of the Fiat Group’s ownership, the 3200 possessed head-turning design, as well as a twin-turbocharged 3,2-litre V8 that helped it achieve a zero to 100 km/h sprint of just 5,82 seconds and max out at 273 km/h.
