British petrol heads are readying themselves for their annual dose of high-octane fun and nostalgia, and you can join them. The Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to take place between June 28 and July 1, 2012, while the Goodwood Revival will be held from 14 to 16 September.
There are many things to look forward to at he the Goodwood Festival including Lotus's 60th birthday celebrations. You can also expect to see a host of Formula One cars on display, as well as some F1 drivers including Sebastien Vettel, Mark Webber, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton tearing up the Goodwood circuit. Other highlights include famous faces such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Jochen Mass, Klaus Ludwig, Ron Dennis and Adrian Newey, as well as interesting vehicles from the Royal family, supercars, future cars and motorbikes.
At the Goodwood Revivial you can expect to see a Silver Arrows display with 12 Auto Union Mercedes-Benzes, an AC Cobra race to celebrate the company’s 50th birthday, and the Freddie March Air Concours.
