Giorgio Gorelli will succeed Alberto Montanari as managing director of Fiat Auto South Africa from June.
Giorgio Gorelli will succeed Alberto Montanari as managing director of Fiat Auto South Africa from June. Montanari takes over at Fiat Auto India.
Gorelli has been with Fiat Auto for the past 16 years in the commercial division. He previously held the position as vice president for European Sales in the Fiat/Lancia Business Unit.
Montanari has been with Fiat Group for the last 17 years and has been managing the South African market for Fiat Auto SpA for the past two years.
“I have been captivated by the natural beauty of both the people and the land of South Africa. I will miss the fantastic team at Fiat Auto South Africa that I have been privileged to work with,” Montanari said.
“I am honoured to be taking the helm of Fiat Auto South Africa. This is a key market that plays an important role in the long term strategy of Fiat Auto SpA,” said Gorelli.
