GUD Filters has overhauled one of its mainstays and beefed up staff knowledge to better tackle the demands of the automotive filter market.

Since the spin-on oil filter comprises a great part of GUD’s production, the company has increased its appeal by making it more environmentally friendly and also more eye-catching.

The light grey spin-on filters are now powder coated, while the tapping plate is polished. The filters are now branded in red and yellow.

To differentiate GUD from its competitors the packaging has been revamped too, also incorporating a visual of the product on the box.

To provide their best service, all GUD sales staff will undergo intensive filtration and basic engine training to better equip them as filter specialists.

The company has also recently launched a product reference on hard copy and CD, said to be a first in the local market, providing more than 22 000 cross-references. The new CD catalogue includes video clips for information purposes.
