Veteran racing driver Willie Hepburn appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday in connection with charges involving stolen property.
Hepburn was arrested after North Rand police raided his smallholding in Kyalami in September. North Rand police spokesperson Superintendent Eugene Opperman said at the time that nine vehicles were confiscated during the raid.
He was later released on bail of R10 000.
Hepburn will appear again in court on May 14. Investigating officer, Inspector Rudolf Brinkhuis, told CARtoday.com they had asked for a lengthy postponement in order to continue investigations. He said they needed to do further work in order to finalise the charges.
Hepburn has been convicted of similar charges in the past.
