Only four days after the new Corvette C7 was shown, these pictures of the (possible) convertible have surfaced.
From what we can gather, the pics look pretty convincing and more official than the usual renderings. However, nothing can be confirmed at this stage.
However, we wouldn’t be surprised if Chevrolet had developed the coupe and convertible simultaneously, as is the modern norm. If the speculation is correct, it would mean the open-top version would be launched soon after the tin-top.
Power will come from the same 6,2-litre V8 engine powering the coupé that produces 335 kW and 610 N.m. Expect performance to be slightly down compared with the fixed-roof version, resulting in a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of around 4,0 seconds.
