After racing in the American championships, Lance Isaacs returned to South Africa to ride for Ducati Cape Town in this year’s National Superbike championships.
Isaacs will return to Killarney racetrack for the Vodacom Power Tour national challenge on March 15, bearing the colours of Playuklottery.com and racing the 748 cc Playuklottery.com Ducati.
“I am very excited to be back on the SA track, and look forward to a great season on the Playuklottery.com Ducati,” said Isaacs. “Playuklottery.com has decided to team up with Ducati Cape Town for the 2003 season, and spectators can expect to see me opening the season on the back of the Ducati 748R branded in brilliant Union Jack colours”.
Isaacs, who started his career as BMX champion in 1988, has a lot of experience, including racing in the South African Championships since he was 17 years old.
Ducati has built the 748cc V-twin to take on the 600cc inline-fours. No expense was spared in making the 748R, a track-bound middleweight sportsbike.
