Isuzu has added five new variants to its already comprehensive KB pick-up range placing an emphasis on value for money for both leisure and fleet owners.
At the heart of the workhorse KB 250 Base Single Cab and KB 250 Fleetside Single Cab models sits the low-pressure 2,5-litre turbodiesel from the previous-generation model.
This unit develops 58 kW at 3 800 r/min and 170 N.m from 1 800 r/min – enough to provide the sort of low-speed shunt required of a load-lugger. Isuzu claims a fuel combined-use consumption of 7,8 litres/100 km.
The Isuzu KB 250 Single Cab Base model retails for R197 200 and the Fleetside R214 100 (inclusive of VAT). Both models come with a 5-year/90 000 km service plan and 5-year/100 000 km warranty as standard.
More leisure-orientated buyers will be pleased to hear that Isuzu added three more LX-spec models to its line-up.
Basically, these models eschew the leather upholstery featured in their stablemates in favour of durable cloth seat coverings. These models will undercut their leather-trimmed equivalents by R9 500 and will continue to feature passenger side airbags as standard.
The pricing for the LX models is as follows:
KB 300 D-TEQ Double Cab LX – R400 900
KB 300 D-TEQ Double Cab LX Automatic – R413 900
KB 300 D-TEQ Double Cab LX 4×4 – R454 900
All prices include VAT as well as a 5 year/120 000 km warranty and a 5 year/90 000 km service plan.
