DaimlerChrysler SA will launch a limited-edition Jeep Wrangler Extreme Sport later this month. The model, of which 25 examples will be made available, costs R209 900.
Based on the basic Jeep Wrangler Sport, the Extreme Sport edition features graphite painted fender flares and extensions, 15-inch graphite painted alloy wheels, a silver centre stack and instrument cluster, and two-tone cloth bucket seats in dark slate and khaki with the Jeep logo embroidered in the seat back.
The limited-edition model, which also feature’s the range’s versatile hard top/soft top configuration, combines a premium seven-speaker sound system – including a subwoofer – to the standard front-loading CD/AM/FM radio. The Extreme Sport is only available in Bright Silver Metallic paintwork.
The sticker price of the model includes a three-year/60 000km warranty as well as a three-year/60 000km scheduled services plan.
