With more than 275 000 visitors expected from all over Africa, Europe and the Far East, the Johannesburg International Motor Show (JIMS) will once again showcase the latest automotive offerings and will put South Africa in the international spotlight. Exciting news is that many of the vehicles and concept cars on display will arrive fresh from the Frankfurt Motor Show…
“The Johannesburg International Motor Show will not only put the focus back on the South African motor industry in 2011, but will give visitors of all ages a chance to see the cars of today and the transport of the future,” says Pula Dippenaar, organiser and SA Shows managing director.
JIMS is an all-inclusive event and will accommodate two additional expos; the Johannesburg Truck and Bus Show and the Automotive Allied Industries, Autoshop. Of course, CAR magazine’s CAR Conference will also be held at JIMS on Wednesday the 12th of October. It will be hosted by Brand Pretorius and the theme is "Adapting for success in a changing automotive market”. Speakers are to be confirmed so watch this space.
