A few days ago Lamborghini has released this teaser shot with the words “Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it”.
With only two days to go until the doors of the Paris Motor Show opens, some magazines are already running stories of this new concept. It is quite clear from these images that it is still pure speculation. According to these reports the concept will be called the Asterion.
One report says that the new model will slot in above the current range topper, the Aventador. However, we think that is not likely to be the case, as the teaser pic doesn’t suit this theory.
Another theory is that it is a hybrid model consisting of the current Huracan’s 5,2-litre, V10 engine combined with three electric motors, resulting in a combined 662 kW – clearly to compete with McLaren’s P1, the LaFerrari and the Porsche 918.
All will be revealed on 2 October.
