Cosmetically, the car bears a stronger resemblance to its recently facelifted siblings, and now sports a more aggressive look with an imposing row of lights flanking the grille carried over from the current 147.
A potent 3,5-litre V6 GTAm is currently being developed, capable of developing 260 kW of power, and is expected to make its appearance here in 2005. With possible four-wheel drive, the GTAm will be offered alongside the already-powerful 3,2 V6 GTA, amounting to the most destructive hatchback force ever!
Three diesel engines based on a 1,9-litre 16-valve are also possible, available in 89 kW, 111 kW and 134 kW derivatives respectively.
A four-wheel drive version will also make its debut and will have higher ground clearance with a more rugged appearance.
