Selling far slower than expected, both locally and abroad, Mini has confirmed that it will suspend production of the Roadster and Coupe.
Lagging behind the hatch, Cabriolet, Paceman and Clubman in terms of sales, both models failed to attract a sufficient numbers of buyers to remain viable owing to their compromised packaging and high list prices.
In their place, Mini looks set to introduce a production version of the Superleggera Vision based on the new, third-generation hatchback’s platform. Read more about the former here.
