The ultimate in retro chic – the Mini Cooper S - has gone to great lengths to increase its stature with the launch of a six-metre limo called the Mini XXL.

The stretch Cooper S is fitted with the Cooper Works tuning kit and was built by a specialist coachbuilder in Los Angeles, USA. The six-wheel, four-door, six-seater Mini will make its début in Athens this week before commencing a tour around Europe and Asia, where it will feature in various events.

A third axle - with two additional wheels - has been added at the rear to support the little limo’s added body length.

In true limousine style, the Mini XXL is equipped with a retractable flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player, radio and a telephone at the rear to allow passengers to communicate with the driver. It also has a sunroof and air conditioning while the interior is finished throughout in sumptuous black leather.

Its highlight would have to be the whirlpool integrated into the rear of the car. Able to seat two people, the pool has a detachable roof so it can be covered when it is not in use. Emptying the pool is as easy as pulling a plug to drain the water.
