Cape Town already houses a few exotic car showrooms, but the newest edition, Crossley & Webb, will offer a unique experience to the enthusiast, investor or owner. The aim of this new venture is to offer individuals a one-stop shop for all their classic and collectable vehicle needs.
The dealership will offer more than what we would usually label as a dealership experience. The authentic red brick building in the Wembley Square area, will be divided into three separate areas each housing a different sides of the business.
It starts with the salesroom, which will offer buyers a range of classic-, sports, and supercars that will be available for local and international consumption.
With the ever-increasing popularity and value of selective classic and iconic cars, Crossley & Webb will also offer de-humidified glass storage on a monthly hire basis. This is especially aimed at collectors along the Atlantic Seaboard, where space has always been a commodity.
Apart from storage, routine maintenance, detailing, insurance and transportation services will also be offered while a workshop will cater for clients and investors who want to upgrade cars or do a restoration project.
Clients who prefer to hire rather than own supercars, will have access to the supercar timeshare franchise Écurie 25. This company was originally founded in 2005 in London, but has now expanded with branches in the US and Australia. Members will have access to an authentic mix of cars, including new cars such as the screaming Lamborghini Aventador to classics such as a Jaguar E-Type.
Fortunately everyone will be welcome on the premises as a coffee bar will be open to public where visitors will be treated to view some of the most exotic cars in town.
The official opening date has not been confirmed, although it is planned for next month.
