Thanks to various spy photographers and websites, including Autoblog, the upcoming new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been caught completely uncovered while out and about on a photo shoot.
Looking a lot like a miniature S-Class, the new C, wearing the W205 internal model code monicker, features a more swept-back roofline, shorter overhangs and a more upright grille and headlights compared with the out-going car. This particular vehicle car is equipped with 18-inch AMG wheels and a rear bumper with twin trapezoidal tailpipes. The facia sports a curvaceous cockpit-type layout and an infotainment system resembling that of the CLA.
There is little else known about the new C-Class, but we expect a range of petrol, diesel and hybrid units with various fuel-saving technologies. The AMG version is expected to feature a downsized 4,0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine with over 330 kW.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will arrive in SA in the second quarter of 2014.
