Audi has introduced a new entry-level engine to its already popular TT coupé line-up in the guise of the Audi TT Coupé 1,8T FSI.
This model’s turbocharged 1,8-litre petrol engine develops 118 kW and 250 N.m of torque while returning a claimed 6,4 L/100 km and emitting 149 g/km of CO2. A choice of manual and S tronic automatic transmissions will be offered with this powerplant with drive being sent to the front wheels.
Among the standard features are:

- Radiator grille now in polished black finish with re-styled single-frame design
- New design 17-inch alloy wheels
- Multi-function steering wheel (with paddle shifters on S tronic model)
The Audi TT Coupé 1,8T FSI is available now with the manual model retailing for R392 000 and the S tronic R409 000, undercutting the previous entry-level 2,0 TFSI in manual and automatic guises by around R40 000 and R23 000m, respectively.
The prices include a 5 years/100 000 km Audi Freeway maintenance plan.
