Fiat SA has announced a new addition to its Doblò range that strikes a balance between utility and family friendliness – the Fiat Doblò Panorama.
The seven-seater Fiat Doblò Panorama measures 4,39 m long, 1,83 m wide and 1,84 m high and has a class-leading 2,76 m wheelbase. The interior features a highly configurable seating configuration capable of serving up 790 dm3 of bootspace with all seats in place and 3 200 dm3 of utility space with the rear seats folded. This model’s large sliding side doors make not only makes ingress and egress easier, but also accommodate fully opening electric rear windows.
The Doblò Panorama is offered in Dynamic trim specification with standard features including 16-inch alloy wheels, climate control, cruise control, parking sensors, central locking, tinted windows, electric mirrors and CD/MP3/Bluetooth audio system with steering wheel mounted controls. The seats are finished in durable Pacman Grey fabrics and there are numerous on-board storage compartments, including a roof shelf, located around the cabin.
Power is provided by a 1,6-litre Multijet engine developing 78 kW and 290 N.m of torque from 1 500 r/min. Mated with a six-speed manual gearbox, this unit will propel the Doblò Panorama from standstill to 100 km/h in a claimed 13,4 seconds on the way to a 164 km/h top speed. Fiat claims a fuel consumption figure of 5,5 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions of 145 g/km.
On the safety front, the Doblò Panorama features dual front and side airbags, stability control, hill-start assist, Isofix child seat anchorages and ABS with EBD.
The Fiat Doblò Panorama retails for R280 000 and comes with a 3-year/100 000 km maintenance plan and warranty. Service intervals are every 30 000 km.
