Hyundai’s rapid rise through the ranks continues with the reveal of its stunning HND-9 concept car at the Seoul Motor Show. The HND-9 is believed to preview the evolution of the marque’s well-received Fluidic Sculpture design language, and could also preview the next-generation Genesis rear-wheel drive coupe.
The 4,7-metre long concept is powered by a direct-injection, 3,3-litre turbocharged engine that delivers around 270 kW. The power goes to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Being a showcar, the HND-9 features its fair share of glitz and glamour, including butterfly doors and seats covered in a mesh that changes colour, depending from which angle it is viewed.
