Honda has updated its CR-V SUV for the 2015 model year. The exterior updates start with the new grille and chrome detailing in selected areas. The headlights are slimmer HID units which feature revised wrap-around LED daytime running lights. Lower down the bumper has also been redesigned while the fog lamps are more prominent than before. At the rear the lights have also been redesigned.
Move to the cabin, and Honda has installed a new 7-inch touchscreen. This screen will do duty in all the cars except the entry-level Comfort model. To accommodate this screen, the dashboard was also redesigned.
The car’s suspension has also been improved. According to Honda the front suspension features new bushes, new dampers and revised suspension geometry. There has also been a 15 mm increase in the front and rear track, together with revised camber angles. Even the steering ratio has been improved by eight per cent.
Apart from NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) levels which have been improved, Honda is also offering two new colours: Copper Sunset Pearl and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic.
