Ahead of its international debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, Kia has pulled the wraps from the new Sorento after an initial teaser image that was recently released by the Korean manufacturer.
The 2015 model year Sorento is noticeably more premium looking than its predecessor, with an enlarged tiger-nose grille, larger headlamps, plenty of brushed chrome trim, rising shoulder line and sleeker profile.
The Sorento will measure in at 4 780 mm long and 1 685 mm tall, and have a wheelbase of 2 780 mm. The latter is 80 mm longer than before, which should translate into more cabin room. Speaking of the interior, it’s expected that the Sorento will boast plenty of new innovative features.
The engines available in the new Sorento will comprise of a normally-aspirated 2,0-litre four-cylinder and 3,3-litre V6. Oil-burning powerplants could include 2,0-litre and 2,2-litre CRDi options.
