After garnering sales of nearly 350 000 units worldwide, Mini has decided to facelift its largest model and has shown it at the New York Auto Show.
The revised Countryman features tweaks to the frontal appearance, including a new grille, LED daytime-running lamps and resculpted alloy wheels. AWD versions gain additional underbody protection. There are also new body colours, including the Jungle Green in the pictures.
The cabin has also been given the once-over, receiving new instrumentation, extensive use of chrome and the updated Connected infotainment system from the new Mini.
The engines remain the same except for the 1,6-litre turbopetrol in the Countryman S, which now develops 140 kW and 240 N.m. It hits 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and tops out at 218 km/h.
The revised Countryman is launched in Europe at the end of June and will reach the local market in third quarter.
