Since the unveiling of the new Audi TT, the motoring public’s attention has swiftly turned to the introduction of a TT RS version. This speculative rendered image surfaced on the Internet and clearly illustrates how the top-of-the-range model might look like.
There are larger air intakes, a lower lip spoiler, flared wheelarches and wider side sills. We already know that Audi is working on a 2,0-litre, four-cylinder, 300 kW engine, which has a good chance of finding its way into the TT RS as well as the upcoming RS3.
As before, the TT RS will feature the company’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system, but it is unclear at this stage if a manual gearbox will be offered as an alternative to a dual-clutch transmission. Expect the TT RS to be unveiled before the end of the year.
