As news of that car filtered through the internet Nissan also announced ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show that it’s new model had just set a Nurburgring lap time of 07 min 08,69 seconds. That time puts up right near the top of the list of times set by road cars keeping company with super- and hypercars costing several times as much.
