Set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, its seems Porsche is struggling to keep its latest track oriented sportscar under wraps. Throughout the past few months spy photographers have captured the 991 GT3 RS undergoing testing at the ‘Ring as well as up north for cold weather testing.
It seems any rumours that it might be a GT2 have disappeared, with the latest sources indicating that between those fat, 21-inch rear wheels (20-inch up front) is a 4,0-litre, flat-six engine developing 373 kW. A PDK transmission is set to be the only gearbox on offer, while it seems carbon ceramics will still be an option, as this car in the pictures are fitted with Porsche’s red brake callipers, indicating it has steel discs.
There is also talks of the car featuring an electronically pit lane function which will limit the car’s speed when entering the pits.
