It seems Porsche is already working on another Macan performance model. We know that an entry-level 2,0-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol is on the way, but rumours suggest this model being tested is the new Macan GTS.
Porsche has used the GTS moniker on models such as the Cayenne, 911, Panamera and more recently the Boxster and Cayman. It makes only sense that the Macan GTS will fill the gap between the Macan S (R873 000) and the Macan Turbo (R1 239 000).
As has been the case before with GTS model, expect the Macan GTS to deliver a few kilowatts and Newton metres more from its 3,0-litre, six-cylinder engine from the Macan S’s 250 kW and 460 N.m. It will also be more sportier on the inside and will be recogniseable as a GTS on the outside. At this stage we expect a GTS to be offered around the R1 000 000 mark.
