[Subaru News] Subaru has added a CVT automatic-equipped turbodiesel model to its local Outback line-up.
The Subaru Outback 2,0D Premium Lineartronic will see the firm’s 110 kW/350 N.m Boxer diesel and seven-step Lineartronic transmission coupled for the first time. This combination channels drive to all four corners via Subaru’s front/rear torque-apportioning symmetrical all-wheel drive system and will reportedly return a combined fuel consumption of 6,5 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions of 172 g/km.
This model’s Premium specification includes such features as 17-inch alloy wheels, electric sunroof, roof rails, HID xenon headlights, leather upholstery, an 8-way electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and go, a multi-function, tilt- and reach-adjustable leather-bound steering wheel, cruise control, an electronic handbrake, split-folding rear seats with a recline function, multi-information display screen and a radio/CD/MP3/aux-in/USB/Bluetooth audio system.
On the safety front, the Subaru Outback 2,0D Premium Lineartronic receives such items as seven airbags including a driver’s knee airbag, a rear-view camera, Isofix child seat anchor points and Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) which integrates ABS, EBD, traction control, stability programme ESC and LSD (Limited Slip Device).
