It might be hard to spot at first glance, but Audi has updated its A6 range. This updated range, which includes the sedan, Avant (which are unfortunately not available in SA) and the S6 derivatives, should become available for order in the next month or two.
Updates include styling revisions, while xenon headlamps are no standard on the SE models. LED headlights will feature as standard equipment on the S line while Matrix LED lights will become optional, although being standard on the RS6 Avant, the latter which is still under consideration for SA.
The interior has also received improvements, while Audi has updated the MMI infotainment system.
Under the bonnet, Audi claims a reduction of fuel consumption by up to 22%. The most frugal contender in the range will be the 2,0-litre TDI ultra, with a claimed consumption of only 4,4 litres per 100 km (114 g/km).
Those in favour of the modern double-clutch transmission will be happy to know that these transmissions will replace the aging multitronic (CVT) transmission in the front-wheel drive variants.
Full specifications, pricing and the engine range for our market will be made available in due course.
