The new Shell V-Power has been launched by Shell South Africa, with claims of even better results than its predecessor.
Shell says V-Power meets and exceeds the quality standards set by the World Wide Fuel Charter. Its formulation is claimed to “actively dissolve and wash away existing deposits”. This allowed the fuel and air to flow directly to the combustion chamber, optimising combustion and giving responsive acceleration, the company claimed.
As 95 per cent South African cars are able to use unleaded fuel, motorists with older models are encouraged to check with manufacturers about the suitability of unleaded petrol for their vehicles.
