The “ugly duckling” in the current Hyundai line-up, the capable and underrated Santa Fe, is due for replacement this year. These spy images, first leaked by Hyundai-blog and Auto Evolution, show how the brand’s Fluidic sculpture design language has transformed the once conservative 7-seat SUV into a rather attractive one.
The new Santa Fe will reportedly reach South Africa just before year-end and will again share componentry with the Kia Sorento, itself due for a facelift later this year. The mainstay of the engine line-up will once again be the company’s superb 2,2-litre turbodiesel.
