The 2015 Nissan Juke range has received several updates, including the new 1,2-litre DIG-T turbocharged engine. On the outside, the Juke has received new bumpers, lights and side mirrors, while the Juke now rides on new and larger wheels.
At the front the fog lights are now placed in a black air intake, surrounded by the new bumper. Higher up, the headlights have been redesigned and now features day-time running lamps. Larger wheels have been fitted across the range, now up from 16-inch to 17-inch (except on the 1,2 DIG-T Acenta model), and up from 17- to 18-inch on the Tekna models.
Certainly the most important interior update is Nissan’s claim that luggage capacity has increased by 40%. This was done by lowering the space saver in the luggage compartment. However, on the all-wheel drive version this was not possible.
Furthermore, the fascia has been updated to “offer a more premium feel”. These include the systems found in cars such as the Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail. The entire range now also offers Bluetooth, cruise control, stop/start and climate control. In terms of safety, all cars are fitted with six airbags and vehicle dynamic control (VDC).
The added 1,2-litre (direct injection gasoline) turbocharged engine delivers 85 kW at 4 500 r/min and 190 N.m between 2 000 and 4 000 r/min. Nissan claims an average fuel consumption figure of 5,6-litre per 100 km.
The rest of the range consists of the 1,6-litre DIG-T (140 kW/240 N.m) and the 1,5-litre dCi turbodiesel (81 kW/260 N.m) engine.
