Novitec have taken the most powerful production car Ferrari has ever made, and made it even more powerful. This is the Novitec SF90 Stradale and it comes with a healthy 816 kW.
Maranello is working on a hardcore iteration of their most powerful production car ever made. The SF90 Versione Speciale as it is currently called is reported to improve aero for all-out track performance in the limited edition run. The German based tuning company; Novitec, has jumped the gun and now created their own version that boasts a whopping 816 kW.
This 80 kW improvement from before is compliments of a new exhaust system and modified engine software. The performance gains are noticeable with its improved statistics. The Novitec SF90 is able to sprint to 100 km/h in 2,4 seconds which is a 0,1 second improvement over its stock counterpart. It may sound insignificant but 0,1 seconds in such a short space of time equates to half a car or even a car’s length once its speedometer signals triple digits.
Other stats include the Novitec SF90 being capable of hitting 200 km/h in only 6,3 seconds, or about the same time it takes a Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6 Diesel to do half of that. This is also an 0,4 second improvement over stock while it will continue onto a top speed over 340 km/h although the exact number hasn’t been specified.
The exterior is more subdued than the in-your-face Mansory creation of the same car. The Novitec SF90 includes a new front spoiler with removable side sections and carbon fibre components mounted onto the bonnet. There are also optional fenders with a bespoke design to the original and the four corners can have several different wheels fitted between the sizes of 20 and 21-inch.
To cope with these performance upgrades, the tuner has also installed a lower spring kit which drops the front by 30 mm and the rear by 25 mm. That not only gives it a far more imposing stance to the stock Prancing Horse but gives it some predictable track manners too.
The inside is much the same with Novitec stating that it can spec the leather and Alcantara for the seats in any colour. No pricing on the upgraded Novitec SF90 is available but considering the stock models come in at just under R12 million, we can’t expect it to be cheap.
