No sooner than Peugeot debuted its all-new 308 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, development models of the new 308 GTi have been spotted testing.
World Car Fans spotted this test mule on the open road and not, as is usually the case, pounding laps at the Nurburgring (which probably explains why Peugeots still maintain such good ride quality).
The French firm is undergoing a small resurgence in the hot-hatch segment after the warm response the 208 GTi has received. The larger 308 is likely to use the same 1,6-litre turbopetrol from that model, so the initial signs are positive.
