There would also be an increase of three cents per litre on the wholesale price of diesel with a 0,3 per cent sulphur content, the department said.
Diesel with 0,5 per cent sulphur will remain unchanged. The increase will raise the retail price of 93 octane petrol to 417 cents a litre in Gauteng and 405 cents at the coast.
