Good news for Subaru owners – the prices of parts imported from parent company Fuji Heavy Industries has been reduced by 10 per cent with immediate effect.
Subaru SA’s national parts manager, Jonathan Collopen, said the rand’s recent strong performances had enabled the company to lower the prices of the parts.
“The demand for parts has been driven by increased vehicle sales over the last two years and we are growing at a rate of 25 per cent year on year,” Collopen commented.
“In agreement with all our dealers, the benefits will be passed on directly to Subaru customers.”
Owners who purchased vehicles prior to the introduction of Subaru’s All-Wheel Drive Maintenance Plan – launched in June 2003 – would benefit most from the reduction, he said. The new prices are applicable to all Subaru dealers across the country.
