Suzuki recently announced its plans to unveil a new concept car at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Dubbed the iV-4, this concept is a preview of the company’s upcoming compact SUV.
Only two teaser images have so far been released, but from what we can see the concept will feature a large front end, a clamshell bonnet and a five-part grille, while also sporting “ “sense of modernity and innovativeness”. From what can be ascertained from the preview images, the iV-4 draws cues from the Jimny and Vitara, and there’s even a hint of Range Rover Evoque about the profile, with its steeply raked roof and high beltline.
A few weeks ago, there were rumours about a Suzuki compact SUV that will rival the Nissan Juke. Reports suggest that it will ride on the same platform as the SX4 S-Cross and that it will be built in Hungary.
CAR magazine will be at the Frankfurt Motor show, so be sure to keep an eye on our website, Facebook page and twitter feed for all the latest details.
