Toyota Motors South Africa has announced the addition of six LTD Edition models to the local Fortuner line-up. According to the firm, this new model line emphasises style and more value for money.
The LTD Edition treatment will be applied to 3,0-litre turbodiesel and 4,0-litre V6 petrol models in both Raised Body and 4×4 guises and will be produced at Toyota’s Prospecton, KZN, plant between July and September.
The LTD Edition models will trade heavily on both the Fortuner’s reputation as a rugged all-purpose vehicle and the fact that the standard specification will prove cheaper as an overall package than specifying the features individually.

- stability control (VSC)
- touch screen audio with reverse monitor and Bluetooth and iPod connectivity
- automatic climate control
- auto headlights
- Stainless steel nudge bar with an side steps with “LTD Edition” badging
- Tow bar with matt black finish
- Rear sill protector
- Smoked grey 17-inch alloy wheels
- Chrome side mirror caps
- “LTD Edition” rear badging
- Overlay carpet set with “LTD Edition” embroidery
