On the back of the Hilux’s very respectable showing in this year’s Dakar and the announcement of Toyota Imperial SA Dakar team for 2014, the firm has announced a new limited-edition model to its local line-up; the Toyota Hilux Dakar Edition.
The Dakar Edition treatment spans 13 models in the Hilux range and comprises the following features:

• Stainless steel nudge bar with Dakar logo
• Stainless steel rear styling bar with Dakar logo
• Stainless steel side steps with Dakar logo
• Rear step bumper with towbar
• Black tonneau cover
• Smokey grey alloy wheels

• Tailgate Dakar badge
Interior:
• Black leather seats with red stitching
• Black leather door inserts with red stitching
• Black carpet set with red Dakar embroidery and red border
