In the ‘cars’ category, Toyota scored 34,3 per cent of the vote, compared to its nearest rival, BMW, who snatched up 27,7 per cent of the vote. Both manufacturers have shown a marked improvement on their 2002 scores, closely followed by Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen.
Toyota was also the only car company included in the survey who ranked amongst the top ten brands in the ‘most admired’ category that was headed by Coca-Cola again this year.
The car manufacturer also faired very well in several of the other 20 categories.
