Have you been considering the purchase of a used BMW or Mini, but procrastinating over when to take the plunge? BMW South Africa hopes to attract new customers by transforming sections of its dealerships across the country into BMW Premium Selection and Mini Next showrooms.
Both BMW and MINI had previously operated under the BMW Approved Used Vehicles banner, but increasing interest in the Mini brand, which has grown by 60 per cent in the past 12 months, has sparked a need for the respective used vehicle programmes to be promoted separately.
BMW SA’s general manager of sales and distribution Neil Foirentinos recently said that the balance of the manufacturer’s five-year Motorplan maintenance programme comprehensively covered vehicles sold by Premium Selection and Mini Next. None of the vehicles were more than five years old and a number of extras, including the continuation of roadside assistance programmes and a finance option of prime minus five per cent interest on selected models, also featured as part of the programme.
Dealer trading hours for the customer weekend are from 9 AM to 3 PM with full support from BMW Financial Services on both days.
