2003 seems to be the year of the scooter. Yamaha has given the Vino a classic makeover with a touch of early Vespa in the styling.
The Vino Classic comes in colour schemes and a fully-chromed front-end that includes the headlight, turn signal housings, speedometer and mirrors.
It features a large seat, full-size floorboard, chromed rear luggage rack and large, convenient underseat storage. The wide, sculpted front apron provides excellent splash and wind protection and classic styling accent and the large, single 12V 35/35-watt headlight maximises nighttime visibility and enhances retro styling.
Additional decor touches include two-tone finishes with a red Vino nameplate and checquered flag graphic and eye-catching chrome-plated speedometer and mirrors
It is powered by a 49cc, air-cooled, two-stroke engine that puts out lively, predictable power. Reed valve induction provides excellent throttle response and power delivery.
Fan-assisted cooling system keeps engine temperatures reliably under control, even while idling at stoplights, for maximum efficiency and longer engine life. It also has a fully automatic V-belt transmission.
