First came the Concept Coupe, which was followed by the Concept XC Coupe and now we have the third in the Volvo show car trilogy, the Concept Estate.
The show car, set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show at the end of next week, was teased in these images released by the company that was tasked with building a car cover for the new model, raincoat maker Stutterheim.
As with the preceding showcars, the Estate hints at a future design direction for a large station wagon, which the company is well-known for. An oversized grille, similar to the other two most recent showcars, is evident, as is a profile reminiscent of a shooting brake.
While we all enjoy a Swedish model revealing just a bit of “skin”, we would like to see more of the long-roofed estate. But I guess we’ll just have to wait for the official images from the show next week.
