Volvo Car South Africa has launched a roadside assistance programme that is in operation 24 hours a day.
The roadside assistance programme is supported by all 25 Volvo dealerships countrywide. Volvo roadside assistance technicians are required to have a minimum qualification in order to qualify for supporting this programme.
Customers who require Volvo roadside assistance can contact the Volvo Assist Call Centre which will in turn dispatch the relevant technician. The call centre is on 0800 229911.
Where the technician cannot solve the problem, the Volvo Assist technician is responsible for transporting the occupants to their home or other suitable accommodation. This is arranged by the Assist Call Centre agent while the AA tows the vehicle to the closest dealership.
All vehicles still covered by the five-year/100 000 km Volvo Plan automatically qualify for Volvo Roadside Assistance at no additional cost.
