Golf BlueMotion
The Golf BlueMotion will be available in South Africa. It will join the Polo BlueMotion to become the second full BlueMotion car in the VWSA range. It is powered by a 2,0-litre direct-injection turbo diesel engine with 81 kW. It has a claimed fuel consumption of 3,2l/100 km and CO2 emissions value of 85g/km.
iBeetle
The iBeetle is a special edition that is based on a full integration of the iPhone into the Beetle. The vehicle makes use of a specially developed docking station and app called Volkswagen Car-Net The Beetle to communicate with the car and exchange data back and forth.
eUp!
The eUp! made its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It comes equipped with a 18,7 kWh lithium ion battery and a 60 kW electric motor with 210 N.m of torque. Top speed is a claimed 130 km/h, while the range is said to be between 120 and 160 km on a full charge. It features the same tech as the e-Golf, which VWSA hope to bring to South Africa soon.
Cross Coupe
The Cross Coupe is fitted with a turbodiesel direct-injection engine and two electric motors that pushes out a combined output of 225 kW. Its combined fuel consumption in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) is 1,8 l/100 km and it has a CO2 emissions figure of 46 g/km.
Jetta Hybrid
The Jetta Hybrid is powered by a 110 kW petrol engine petrol engine and a zero- emissions electric motor that has 20 kW. This sedan has a combined fuel consumption of 4,1 l/100 km and 95 g/km CO2. Also, at the press of a button, the new Jetta Hybrid can be driven in pure electric mode at speeds of up to 70 km/h and over a distance of two kilometres (depending on terrain and operating conditions).
Scirocco GTS
The Scirocco GTS is set apart from the standard version through the use of an individualised exterior and interior with sporty details and GTS decals. The Scirocco GTS coupé will only be available with the 2,0 TSI 155 kW engine mated to 6-speed DSG transmission. This model retails for R388 100.
