Keep it on the racetrack could be an apt caption for this video after a street racing 350Z swerves across three lanes of traffic after losing control, narrowly avoiding other cars and rolls onto its roof.
Having a need for speed and using it responsibly are two separate things. No matter how much we love fast cars we cannot condone irresponsible driving and behaviour on the roads. This street racing 350Z is testament to this and as the footage demonstrates, could have been much worse considering it was during peak hour traffic on the highways on California.
The driver allegedly fled from the accident scene which occured in El Sobrante near the San Pablo avenue which could even mean he may have been unlicensed or driving illegally (over and above the obvious speed limit of course).
In the short video provided by ViralHog on YouTube and embedded below we can see the black 350Z come into frame on the right hand shoulder of the highway. The car is soon out of control and starts veering towards the barrier on the other side of the five-lane highway. Shortly thereafter, another vehicle comes speeding into the far left; a Toyota Camry TRD which has the same 3,5-litre V6 engine as the Lotus Emira, minus the supercharger.
The street racing 350Z narrowly avoids wiping out a Honda Jazz and Mazda CX-5 after it traipses sideways across the highway with the camera car and a Nissan Almera having to take some evasive action too.
