The folks over at ABT Sportsline have turned their attention to Audi Sport’s RS5 Coupé, giving the performance vehicle a bit more oomph as well as a few alterations to the rear styling.
ABT has applied its Power S performance boost upgrade to the RS5‘s 2,9-litre V6, comprising a new engine control unit, exhaust package, air intake cover and extended radiator kit.
These upgrades increase the turbocharged six-cylinder’s output from the stock 331 kW and 600 N.m of torque to an even more appealing 389 kW and 690 N.m.
Interestingly, the only exterior modifications made to this RS5 are found at the rear. The ABT rear set fitted to the coupé sees the ditching of the original oval-shaped twin-tailpipes in favour of a quartet of carbon-trimmed items. Meanwhile, a new rear spoiler (fashioned from carbon-fibre-enhanced plastic) is found on the boot lid.
As the Kempten-based firm cheekily explains, the reason the cosmetic changes have been restricted to the rear is since “most drivers only ever see the back of the Audi RS5″…
